From midnight on March 14, 2024 to midnight on November 30, 2024 (Beijing time), Swiss citizens with ordinary passports can travel to China for business, tourism, family and friendship visits, as well as for transit, without needing a visa, provided their stay does not exceed 15 days from their date of entry.
Swiss citizens who do not meet these criteria, or who hold a service passport, must always obtain a Chinese visa before arriving in China.
